| Former windows and ubuntu linux user. When ever i used linux i looked for a clean and elegant environment. Deepin does it all, it looks beautiful, runs fast and comes with useful apps like an office suite and steam straight out of the box. I wish there was a little more customization but I would SERIOUSLY recommend you try this distro.

| This is the answer to Microsoft's domination on the operating systems, it runs all my windows software just nicely. There is a couple of things one needs to get use to. Good by Windows 10 and welcome Deepin 15.4 and into the future.

| Former Kanotix, Sidux and Mint LMDE user, I just decided to give deepin a chance.....well, I am not feeling any need to go back even if Mint actually is an astonishing distro, but in my modest opinion deepin is currently the real deal if You like a super polished Debian derivate easy to install and manage. 10 out of 10

| Beautiful Distro, it really makes a difference among the others distros. It should consider including well recognised (or highly rated) packages though (libre office, Vlc, etc ). And probably to create a lightweight version for older computers (probably using a lightweight desktop environment like xfce, lxde). The file manager still needs to be polished. Is good that they include their own apps, it gives character and originality to the distro.

| Almost 20 years I no longer use Linux Desktop. I work every day with Linux Server but still use Windows for workstations. In the last few days, I have been thinking of trying the Desktop editions to see their evolution. So I tried some tops editions, Mint, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, CentOS, Arch, Zorin. I installed them in each VM to compare. Frankly, I have not seen much difference with 20 years ago, always slow and ugly. Even some editions are not stable and crashes during installation. 20 minutes later, I deleted them all.
Today I saw a review on Deepin, so I decided to make another try. The last version I found at the moment is deepin-15.4-rc2-amd64. The installation is so simple and took only 6 minutes in my VM. It does not even need to install VMware Tools and the display and other drivers are automatically installed and configured. The interface is elegant and very nice, WOW, it could compete Windows 10 or MacOS of this day. The system is fast and light. Integrated applications are awesome. Personally I think this is the best Linux Desktop edition so far. Soon I will put this version on a real workstation for everyday use. Congratulations Deepin developers, you let me see the future of Linux Desktop.

| The only thing that is missing for me is to finish the translation into Spanish and the new version arrives in a maximum of two weeks, the latter will be translated

| I love the DDE! So beautiful, crisp. I had no major issues with the actual environment and launcher. I think the new desktop is creative and I can't say enough good things about it.
However, at least in the US, repository updates are as slow as mud. I couldn't update packages nor download packages reliably. I like the software store, I do not like the repo server speeds. You need more servers, desperately! Fix this issue, and it's 10/10. :)

| Before I install deepin 15.3 I readed so many reviews about it. Many people says deepin is one of the most beautiful and stable OS. So I impressed it and I installed it. The deepin desktop looks very beautiful and simple to use. However deepin was break down itself after I updated it. When I restart it it didn't start..Moreover before restarting I tryed to install a few softwares from deepin software center, but it just installed one software not others. deepin software center is unstable according to me. So I think this OS is very unstable and it needs to fix so many problems it has. If you would like to test and see deepin desktop you can give it a try but it is not conveniend for daily usage right now. I hope its community will fix all problems and it will be more stable by the time.

| Pretty looking distro but not as good and solid as I thought. Needs a lot of work done. Control center is not fast and fluid and most of the time does not get invoked at all with the hot corner mouse movement. A bit disappointing.

| i tried a lot and i mean a lot of distros in one weekend. The whole top 20.
From my perspective, a OSX user of 10+ years, who hates the direction OSX (and windows) is going with data sucking and artificial intelligence, deepin is the best distro. A good second is Linux Mint, but it is less modern and speedy on my older hardware. A third for me would be solus, but the direction of not using debian as a base means there is a lot not there, that i need. If solus would move on, i think solus and deepin would both end on #1 for me.
Very good job by the deepin guys.

| Wanted to love it. Would have if I could have gotten the Deepin Store to work. Horribly slow mirror and no luck switching mirrors. Found out this is a known bug and I hope they fix it, because other wise this is a super nice distro and desktop environment.

| pros: very nice interface
easy to use
easy installation without any problems
deepin store is a big plus
cons: problem with switching default applications sometimes
some themes has a fond size problem
I tried Mint, Elementary, Ubuntu, Fedora, PCLinuxOS plus some others, but now I have Deepin and I keeping it.
I give 10, because I never see a better distro.

| so incredibly easy to use, install and get apps for. chrome integration means not only linux debian software works perfectly but also any software on the chrome app store works perfectly as if it's a native app. i have converted 7 systems to seeping for a different range of users from school laptop to business work stations. printer support is good, network support is good, ease of use is great, and speed on older hardware is fantastic.

| My favorite part of this OS is their custom made apps like the store, music player etc.
It's fast and the store has so much more to offer then the ubuntu store so you don't need to go searching whole day on how to install something through the terminal

| It is very easy to use, the most beautiful linux desktop available today and works out-of-the-box. On top of that, the Deepin store comes with vmware player (and virtualbox - I use both) and crossover for free pre-installed (sometimes wine just doesn't work!) Congratulations guys!

| Rather out-of-the-box, with a few popular proprietary apps pre-installed, including:
* Google Chrome
* Spotify
* WPS Office
along with Broadcom wireless drivers pre-installed. Rather stable and uses the latest LTS kernel (4.4.x). Has access to the extensive repositories of Debian. The Deepin Desktop Environment is beautiful but rather uncustomizable. You can't even switch the placement of window titlebar icons (like maximize, minimize and close) from the right-hand side to the left-hand side.
